11/20/2024 - I was introduced to the team at Fuzzed and Buzzed Records by my one of my best friends on the planet Chuck Coles. Chuck had recently started working with them at Bovine Sex Club in Toronto. Chuck hailed the Fuzzed and Buzzed crew as some of the best up and coming talent in Southern, Ontario. When Chuck recommends something like this, most who know him tend to take him seriously. After a year of working with Connor Babin and the Fuzzed and Buzzed team, it is clear that Chuck was right again.
These guys are hard working, fun, professional and always a pleasure to work with. Everyone here at Fannatickets.com HQ also really appreciate that Connor starts every email with, "Greetings".

WHO ARE WE TALKING TO?
I’m Connor Babin, the COO of Toronto record label, Fuzzed and Buzzed / Banger Films: BangerTV YouTube personality!
WHAT CITY OR CITIES DO YOU PROMOTE SHOWS IN?
Anywhere in Canada that will allow us to throw a show, but mainly Ontario/Quebec
WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR PROMOTIONS OR PRODUCTION COMPANY?
Fuzzed and Buzzed
WHAT VENUE OR VENUES DO YOU PRIMARILY BOOK SHOWS?
Mainly Bovine in Toronto. The staff there are family to FnB and are always so amazing to us!! Thanks, Darryl!! We’ve worked at other venues in Toronto, like Baby G, Monarch Tavern, Dakota Tavern, Handlebar. But again, we’ll throw a show anywhere. Even your aunts living room!
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU MOST COMMONLY PROMOTE?
Anything that’s fuzzed out. Majority stoner/doom/psych but we want to branch out. Good music is good music. So if you’re good, reach out!!
DESCRIBE YOUR SCENE FOR US.
Been in this scene for over a decade and have REALLY seen it grow in thr past couple years. This scene is tight and extremely important to us. if it wasn’t for the scene, Fuzzed and Buzzed would be nothing. But to describe the scene, it’s loving and passionate. Exactly how a scene should be.
WHEN AND WHERE DID YOUR LOVE OF MUSIC FORM?
My cousins/brother and parents have been a massive influence on me, But mainly my cousin Kevin (AKA Jimmer). If it wasn’t for the letter he sent me attached with a USB stick with all this wild stoner/ psych rock, I’d still be listening to punch you in the face death metal! Nothing wrong with that but I wanted a different taste of heavy and when I received that letter, it changed my life. I have it framed on my record shelf to remind myself how important it is to have family like that. Sadly he passed away 8 years ago.. so reading that letter with his handwriting means everything to me.
HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED IN EVENT PROMOTION?
Well, we actually didn’t want to get into show promoting!! We only wanted to throw album release shows for the bands we’ve worked with. Once we did a bunch of album release shows we thought, hell, this is fun. Let’s just keep throwing shows. So it totally spun out of control into what we are now. Basically a promotion company, ha!!
WHAT WAS THE FIRST CONCERT YOU WENT TO?
There’s 3 actually! First was Kiss and Buckcherry, second was Red Hot Chilli Peppers with The Mars Volta. That was the first show I ever smelt the devils lettuce!! Ha!! Third was Weird Al, to this date, that show was one of the top performances I’ve ever seen!
WHAT WAS THE FIRST “BIG SHOW” YOU PROMOTED?
I think it was Hippie Death Cult / Sasquatch! That was when we were like, wow… this is huge, real deal touring bands! We had some that fell through the cracks that would’ve changed everything!! We had a John Garcia show lined up that fell, and one that really hits close to home.. The Obsessed.. I won’t get into that because it still makes me sad!!
WHAT WAS YOUR WORST SHOW OR FUNNIEST SHOW MEMORY?
I always laugh thinking about this. I won’t name venues but it was in the Junction. It was one of the first shows working with our brother, Ryan of Black Throne. Those dudes are the real deal and we LOVE our BTP family!!! But okay, we’re settling up in the back room and there’s a disgusting half eaten chicken wing in the corner with BBQ sauce all over, I just couldn’t concentrate anymore because it was disgusting. The venue didn’t even serve food anymore so where the hell did that wing come from and how long was it there??? If you see me in person, ask to see the chicken wing picture, I have it handy for times like this!
WHATS NEXT FOR YOU?
Buncha shows in 2025, we’re releasing a bunch of records in 2025 and just having fun!
