MEET THE COMEDIAN AND ACTOR BEHIND SAM "THE CAVEMAN" LOSCO OF TRAILER PARK BOYS

WHEN AND WHERE DID YOUR LOVE OF COMEDY FORM?

I always considered myself to be the "funny guy" amongst my friends, but many of them are actually funnier than me. I just love to laugh and love it more when I can get others to laugh.

HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH ACTING?

I bailed Robb Wells (Ricky) out of a fight in a bar and he thought I was funny, and asked me to be in his movie. I did however do Theatre Arts for 3 years in high school.

WHAT WAS THE FIRST CONCERT YOU WENT TO? MUSIC, COMEDY OR OTHERWISE?

Not counting concerts at the CNE, my first major concert was David Bowie "Golden Earring Tour" in 1995. My first comedy concert was Steve Martin "King Tut Tour" in 1978.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST LIVE COMEDY SET LIKE? DID IT GO WELL?

My 1st set was amazing. I had done ad lib performances before, but this was my first scripted event. I find it's half and half now.

WHAT WAS YOUR WORST SHOW OR FUNNIEST SHOW MEMORY?

Funniest show memory was when I had finished this show, but everyone was having so much fun that I suggested we all take a smoke/toke break and then I emptied the venue and we all went outside for a smoke/toke break, and then all came back in and I did another 30 minutes.

WHAT SHOULD GUESTS OF COMEDY FOOD TOURS LIVE EXPECT TO SEE AT THE SHOW?

A little raunchy, self deprecating, and not just for Trailer Park Boys fans. A lot of audience participation, singing, and contests. More like a variety show than simply a comedy show.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR YOU?

I just appeared in one movie and starred in another last summer. I hope to do more movies, variety comedy shows, and appearances as long as people want me.
