WELLAND FUZZ ROCKERS CANNABUS ARE CURRENTLY TOURING SOUTHERN, ONTARIO
BIO:
Cannabus is a three piece Stoner/Desert Rock band from Welland, Ontario Canada. They meld a mix of fuzzed out blues rock with hint of Heavy Psych, Punk and Metal. Their first release "The Maple Spliff Session" was a accumulation of a year and a half of jams and transforming it into a 4 song Ep ladened with 60's and 70's heavy tripped out psychedelic vibes and thunderous 90's fuzzed out riffs.

WHICH MEMBER OF THE BAND ARE WE TALKING TO?
Hi my name is James, I'm the Singer/Guitarist for Cannabus.
WHEN AND WHERE DID YOUR LOVE OF MUSIC FORM?
My love of music came from watching a Episode of The Simpsons where the band “The Who” tear down the wall splitting Springfield in half with the opening chord of Won’t Get Fooled Again. That first chord set something off in my brain and I've never turned back.

WHAT WAS THE FIRST CONCERT YOU WENT TO?
My first concert was a Pink Floyd cover band when I was around 10 at Zooz in Stevensville, Niagara. Pink Floyd was one of my first bands I ever got into.
WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST “BIG SHOW”? OR YOUR FIRST SHOW EVER?
My first big concert was Iron Maiden At Toronto for their Final Frontier World Tour in 2011. They opened with the first half of Brave New World.
WHAT WAS YOUR WORST SHOW OR FUNNIEST SHOW MEMORY?
In the past i played with a band where a bass player for one of the other bands stomped his power adapter for his pedal board so bad, he had everyone pass it around the audience stating “Pass that fucker around, It’s fucked!”
WHAT’S NEXT FOR YOUR BAND?
We have a New Ep "Other Side" coming out April 19th of this year through Black Throne Productions. We also have an April tour planned along with the new EP, in Cities across Ontario and Quebec, Canada.
