Described as Heart meets Black Sabbath, Rough Spells are a four-piece witch ‘n roll band from Tkaronto. They are part of a queer female-fronted doom music movement. Their self-released EP Modern Kicks for the Solitary Witch debuted at #10 on the Doom Charts in August of 2018 and was released on cassette by Hoove Child records in Chicago. They released their 7" Syster on Fuzzed and Buzzed records. They released their first full-length LP Ruins at Midday was released in 2020 DHU (Dark Hedonistic Union) records in the Netherlands and Fuzzed and Buzzed in Canada."This is a straight up rocker!
