The girls originally started as an L7 cover band in the summer of 2016. Founding members Victoria and Carol met at a fundraiser for Montreal’s Rock Camp for Girls. Karaoke enthusiast and attention whore Meghan joined in 2017. Meghan quickly got addicted to doing gigs too. After a while, they were no longer satisfied with doing covers. So they dropped the covers and started crafting their own original sound in 2018.
Corrina joined the band in 2019. The girls were blown away by her technical abilities and her fat-ass bass lines. She was also cool as hell.
By the summer of 2019, the band was riding a high after a killer set at Pouzza Fest and an awesome gig at The Bovine in Toronto.
By early 2020 the Lef7overs were introduced to Liane and they had to pick their jaws off the floor. She’s an absolute beast on the drums and she rules, basically. She’s definitely one of the best drummers on the scene.
Everyone knows what happened in 2020. While that sucked, the Lef7overs continued to jam, and worked relentlessly on their album.
In 2022 they launched their debut album "Mercury Retrograde" with excellent reviews. In 2023 they played at the Deluge festival in Saguenay, QC. Now they are ready to keep playing around Canada and show their music to the world!
