The Penske File Celebrate Their Seminal Record Burn Into The Earth With A Hometown Show and Digital Re-Release Which Includes Previously Un-Released Music. 

The three childhood friends in The Penske File achieved a lot of their dreams on the wings of their second full length album Burn into the Earth. They signed to the iconic Canadian indie label Stomp records, they toured relentlessly coast to coast across North America and made their first trip overseas to Europe. 

Now 10 years and many milestones later, they have released a deluxe anniversary edition that includes a previously unreleased 11th song, entitled “Your Light” from the album sessions, which took place over one week at Drive Studios in late 2014.

 “Your Light is a love song about my budding relationship with my wife, then girlfriend. I’m proud of the tune and not entirely sure why we left it off the record in the first place. Maybe we didn’t think love songs were punk enough … I don’t know. I remember the album’s producer, Steve Rizun, going to bat for us to make this song a single, and we ultimately responded by making it the only b side? Classic Penske File logic. Anyways we’re thrilled to get it out there in the world now, and hope that those who loved the album will enjoy this addition and dig back in. We’re officially old enough for this 10 year anniversary thing and are still at it. That’s something to celebrate. Much love.”
